After attending a course for electronic experts in communication at a professional institute, from 1991 to 1998 he worked for Deutsche Telekom in Leipzig and Kaiserslautern (Germany).

He studied computer science at the Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern where he graduated in 2003 with the thesis: Webapplikationen mit Java Server Pages.

Since December 2003 he has been collaborating as head of the technical production to the research project “I margini del libro”, financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation and directed by Maria Antonietta Terzoli.
